Can I pay by card or Credit Card?

Hi there and thank you for the email. I'm afraid we do not have the facility to take payment via card due to the lack of interest previously expressed by our customers. We do however accept Bacs, Bankers Draft, Cheques in advance or cash on delivery. Should these not be acceptable there is sort of another way to pay albeit not ideal for you but may help you out.

We own a separate manufacturing company www.better-bounce.co.uk which does have a card machine, However this company is a much larger company and is VAT registered. Should you wish for me to place the order through this company card machine, I would have to charge vat @ an additional 20% on the price of the hire for debit cards an 22% for credit cards.

Like I say, not ideal but we can accept this if it helps you out.

Having checked my records I can confirm that we have accepted your booking and made arrangements for the event to go ahead as requested.

I can also confirm that a confirmation email has been send out confirming your booking already & I would suggest checking your junk email folder just is case as our name "Funbounce" can often be flagged up as something less appropriate by some email filters.

It is however 100% booked in so please don't worry and we will be arriving as promised on the day.

I'm afraid that despite our booking system stating that the activities are available on that day, we are unable to help.
We do have the equipment available, however we don't have the capacity to deliver it as all our drivers and vehicles are in use already.
On rare occasion that this happens we would suggest using one of our recommended 3rd party contractors, who often cross hire our equipment.
In many many cases they hire our equipment at trade prices and deliver them to your door for the same price as quoted on our website so its a win win situation.

However we do not offer a measure up service I'm afraid as all sizes and dimensions are visible on every product on our website if you scroll down a little.

All our prices are based on a days hire, allowing the customer to be flexible and make “The day” whatever they wish. The price is based on the following events taking place.

An operator arriving our warehouse, Loading up the entertainment, driving to your venue, delivering and setting up the entertainment, returning to the warehouse to make up 50% of the hire charge. The operator must then return to your venue to de-rig, collect and return the entertainment to the warehouse making up the final 50% of the hire charge.

It’s a knockout

Hi there and thanks for the email, We have very good availability at the moment so providing our it’s a knockout challenge shouldn’t be a problem.

The way we operate is a little different from other companies. We are able to provide a full it’s a knockout competition however from experience, we find it’s a little too sensible and organised to keep the many many participants entertained for long periods of time. We also find that the high staffing levels required unnecessarily eat into your budget where it could be best spent on more fun activities.

We find the best most popular way to run an it’s a knockout is to keep it simple and to select 5 or 6 of the following high impact challenge inflatables: Bungee Run, Gladiator Duel, Sumo suits & Surround, Pillow Bash, 100ft Assault course, Wrecking Ball, Human Bowling Ball, Human Table Football, Zorb Arena or the laser maze along with some of the smaller challenge items like Inflatable air hockey, Giant dart board, Air Juggler & Team race games so there’s just about something for everyone.

We then run full team competitions on each inflatable and circulate the participants around the items. It’s far more entertaining than other versions and gives each player the flexibility to enter whatever event they feel strongest in straight away as opposed to a right time schedule which can often spoil the day’s events.

A typical knockout generally costs anything from £350 for the equipment but everything is individually priced and available for you to pick and choose as you & your budget require. The rest depends on how many staff you require, if foam is required and if you have a fixed power source on site. It really is that simple.

These types of event can either be staffed or unstaffed and again it’s totally up to yourself & your budget requirements. Should you require staff members to be present to supervise the inflatables, these are charged at £20 per person, per hour. Generators are also available at a cost of £45 per attraction but are only required if there is no power supply with 100ft of the equipment.

If you can provide me with a list of preferred items, if you require staff or you wish to manage your own event and if you require generators or not, this would be a fantastic starting point and I’d be happy to provide you with a quote based on this information.

Large Events… Ideas & 5 point plan – NO staff NO staff generators

Hi there and thanks for the email,

I think what you’re doing is a brilliant idea and is something we would really like to get involved in.

Larger events such as yours usually swallow a large chunk of the budget using staff at a rate of £20 per person, per hour and generators at between £40 and £80 per item so I think skipping out these costs where possible is a good starting point if you can.

If you can take care of the staffing element then perhaps just take one of our events coordinators to help ensure your staff are doing everything by the book which will certainly keep costs down and spend the money where it counts.

I would suggest inflatable, inflatable's, inflatable's for the best effect and the bigger the better. Giant slides are a must have for such an event and definitely a PA system to put everyone in the mood.

Our website shows all the individual prices so we've nothing to hide. I would suggest looking at an event in five stages. "Showstoppers" " Large Attractions" "Family competition games" "Smaller Children" & "Hospitality"

I would suggest starting by picking one or two Showstopper items that can be seen from miles around and that everyone will just have to go on and be attracted to such as the zorb ball slide, climbing wall, Rodeo Bull etc.

I'd then choose two or three large attention grabbers and high capacity inflatable's such as the giant slides, Giant Crazy Gold pitches, giant bouncy castles, wrecking balls and large assault courses to entertain a high number of guests at the same time with minimal staffing and electricity requirements which is a must have for any event. Once you've got that far, I'd have a look at the competition and more diverse entertainment that vary depending on the type and nature of the event such as bungee runs, gladiator duels, surf machines, pillow bashes, wrecking balls, boxing rings, Human table footballs, sumo suits. These are at the lower end of the budget and idea for creating a great sense of competition without putting a large dent in your budget.

Now for the smaller children, Its important to remember that the event will not only be attended by adults and teenagers but small family members that might not be able to go on the larger family attractions. The items you want to be looking at depending on age ore the soft play, sea world adventure, smaller slides & bouncy castles and perhaps a set of giant garden games such as the air juggler, air hockey, jenga & connect 4. Basically anything smaller children can interact with or without adult supervision.

Last but not least... The hospitality, this is a broad category but you may wish to consider PA systems to set the mood, a marquee to house guests or buffets, event advertisers such as windy men, sky dancers, Crowd control, welcome arches and running items such as generators. Once you've got this far you've pretty much covered all areas of the event except health & safety which we'd be happy to get involved with. This is completely free of charge to all events and we're happy for you to download our Risk assessments, method statements and a copy of our £5,000,000 public liability insurance by clicking on the Health and safety tab on our website.

Cancellation & re-booking

Hi Zeta, Thank you for your email.

As it stands at the moment there is a cancellation fee of 50% outstanding on the event. This fee takes into account actions already undertaken as a result of your booking such as the sanitising of the machines last week and the ordering of the popcorn for which we will still be liable and will have to pay for regardless. If this fee is paid within 7 days it is reduced to 25% of the total booking.

Notwithstanding the above, I have spoken with my colleague Samantha and we have agreed that if the booking is rescheduled for and goes ahead within 30 days of your previous booking we will agree to wavier the cancellation fees as a gesture of good will.

I am sure you can appreciate that the cancellation fees are not designed for us to make a profit but merely to cover costs associated with your booking.

Snow Machine hire
