Will I pay VAT?

In the UK we have a government levied sales tax of 20% on all goods sold, this is known as VAT. There are however certain circumstances which will result in you not needing to pay VAT and we hope that this page will answer any questions about whether or not you will be charged VAT/sales tax.

UK Consumers:

All UK consumers will need to pay VAT on the total of the goods purchased.

UK Businesses:

If you own a business then we are obliged to charge VAT at 20% to you, depending on the nature of your business you may be able to claim this back through your accounting practices.

European Consumers EU based:

If you are a consumer based in Europe and you do not own a business, we are obliged to charge you the standard UK VAT.

European Businesses EU based:

If your business has a valid European (EU) tax/VAT number then please add this to your account, you can do this here. Our website will validate your VAT number and we will not charge you UK VAT/sales tax.

If your company does not have a valid European (EU) tax/VAT number then we are required by EU law to charge you UK VAT at 20%.

NB: If you are based in the EU and have a valid European tax/VAT number and require the goods to be delivered to a UK address then we are obliged to charge you UK VAT at 20%.

International Consumers (Non EU):

If you are based outside of the EU then you will not be charged UK VAT.

International Businesses (Non EU):
