Backup Generators? Just in case!
Please remember that when booking for large events the generator can be a key part of the whole function. Whilst our generators are serviced regularly and well maintained, Generators are just as likely to cause power issues as a standard 240volt power supply power cut for example if not used correctly.
Although we have only experienced 2 or 3 generator failures in our long history, All faults related to either allowing the generator to run out of fuel and not being able to start it again or lack of generator knowledge, please ensure all generators are topped up at regular intervals throughout the event.
As such, we strongly advise to have back up power or a member of our trained staff on site to assist. Back up generators can be hired from us at a heavily subsidised rate and this is strongly advised, please contact us for details.
The price of the backup generator varies from 30% to 50% of the usual charge depending on size and fuel consumption of individual units so please contact us prior to your event for details and suggestions, The cost is not £200 as suggested.
To book backup generators, simply click on the big red button at the base of each generator description named "Book Online" and select extra fuel from the list of available extras.
PLEASE NOTE: This generator is supplied as only suitable for inflatables and does not have a power outlet unless requested in advance of your booking. The generator power outlets are standard 16amp blue commando plugs and no conversion or fly leads are provided as standard. Please ensure you fully understand what is required and call us t discuss if you are unsure.

Should a generator fail through a fault of our company, refunds will be limited to the generator only, NOT the items powered by the generator. A competent supervisor must be with he generator at all times with suitable protection in place.

PLEASE NOTE: When ordering generators form Funbounce, Make sure you are fully aware of the power requirements of each item and bear this in mind when selecting a location for your equipment.
For example, if you select 3 inflatables and require 3 generator outlets, these 3 items must be grouped together within a distance of 100ft. They cannot be placed at separate ends of the venue.
If you require inflatables to be erected in separate areas of the venue exceeding 100ft from one another, you must select 3 smaller generators as opposed to one larger one.

Please note: The client is responsible for ensuring that suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to start of event. This includes safe provision of Generator fencing and hoarding etc. we provide the entertainment only unless our services as supervisors/ event managers are provided. Full guidance and safe operation sheets can be provided in advance should you require. If no guidance is requested it will be presumed that you are aware of the HSE requirements and as such we will not accept any liability for loss or damage. It is also worth noting that all generators left without a member of our staff will require refueling by yourselves, please make you you have adequate provision for this on site.
